Chondroitin provides protection by inhibiting enzymes which degrade cartilage.
Glucosamine is isolated from chitin, a biopolymer derived from crustacean shell. Glucosamine stimulates the synthesis of synovial fluid and the complete cartilage matrix including collagen and proteoglycans.
