Nori is derived from Porphyra umbilicalis. This red seaweed is harvested from cold waters in the North Atlantic Ocean. Nori is also known as laver. The extract contains various carbohydrates as well as minerals. It has been used for skin conditioning applications.
Standard product is collected by centrifugation and contains fine suspension of insolubles and some minimally soluble protein with solids at 5-10%. Please consult the technical staff at SeaTech regarding your project for a recommendation.
